PHOENIX (March 30, 2018) – More than half a billion dollars is up for grabs for tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot drawing. Arizona Lottery players have the chance at $521 million; just in time to start planning the ultimate summer vacation!

This is the fourth time in history that the Mega Millions jackpot has surged past $500 million. Due to an increase in sales, Mega Millions game officials increased the jackpot amount from $502 million to $521 million for tonight’s drawing.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for our players,” said Gregg Edgar, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. “Not only do players have an opportunity to win more than half a billion dollars, but these big jackpots are exciting for the Arizona Lottery itself. Every time the jackpot gets bigger, more and more people play, which results in a surge of additional dollars generated to support important community programs throughout Arizona.”

If players don’t win the jackpot, they should still check their tickets for a second-tier prize! Arizona Lottery players have a chance to win a variety of cash prizes ranging from $2 to $1 million. Since the jackpot has been rolling, 35 winning tickets have been sold worth $1 million or more.

Players need to purchase their tickets tonight before 6:59 p.m. MST from any of the Arizona Lottery’s 3,000+ retailers across the state in order to be eligible. The Arizona Lottery advises players to sign their tickets immediately and check them as soon as possible to avoid missing out on any prizes they may have won.
