HOW TO PLAY
Powerball® is a $2 multi-state jackpot draw game with a jackpot starting at $40 million and growing until someone wins.
You have three ways to pick your numbers:

Choose Quick Pick and let the computer select your numbers for you.

Choose your own numbers and mark them on the selection slip. Pick five white numbers (1 through 59), plus one red Powerball number (1 through 35).

Choose just white numbers or just the red Powerball number and Quick Pick the other number(s). You can play Powerball for up to 10 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the retailer at the time of purchase or mark the multi-draw box on your selection slip.
HOW TO WIN
Powerball has nine winning ball combinations. The more numbers you choose that match the numbers drawn, the more you win.
Overall odds of winning a Powerball prize are approximately 1 in 31.8
If other players also match all six numbers, you'll share the prize with them in equal amounts.
POWER PLAY®
While Power Play no longer includes a ball drawing for the multiplier, this exciting feature is still only $1 and now allows any non-jackpot prizes to be doubled, tripled or quadrupled. Refer to the above chart for Power Play prize amounts.
Mark the Power Play box on your selection slip or ask the cashier for the Power Play option.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
If you win the jackpot, you have 60 days to choose either a 30-year annuity or a lump-sum cash payment of approximately half the amount of the announced jackpot. If you do not select cash or annuity within the 60 days, your prize will be paid as an annuity.
All sales are final. Drawing game tickets cannot be voided. Drawing prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
Powerball sales stop at 7:59 p.m. Arizona time from the first Sunday in November through the second Saturday in March and at 6:59 p.m. Arizona time from the second Sunday in March through the first Saturday in November.
See the Winning Numbers — Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday evening. Tune into KOLD News 13 in Tucson at approximately 10:25 p.m. Players may also sign up at arizonalottery.com/signup to automatically receive winning numbers. (The Arizona State Lottery official audited records of the numbers that were drawn will determine the winner rather than the numbers televised or published on the web.)
