PHOENIX (September 13, 2010) — Due to statewide government furloughs, the Arizona Lottery’s Phoenix and Tucson Offices will be closed on Friday, September 17. This closure requires our employees to take an unpaid furlough day.
Lottery retailers will still sell tickets and pay prizes on that day. Game drawings will also continue as scheduled.
Prizes greater than $599 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters. We will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 20. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
