PHOENIX (Dec. 29, 2009) – One lucky person will have a little extra cash for the New Year; $200,000 to be exact. A winning second prize ticket from Saturday’s Powerball® drawing was purchased in Kingman. The winning ticket holder has yet to come forward, and so the Arizona Lottery encourages every Arizonan who participated in the Dec. 26 drawing to check their tickets.

"The Arizona Lottery is delighted to have one of the four second-prize winners from Saturday’s drawing,” said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director for the Arizona Lottery. “It is a great way to start the New Year, and we are excited to meet the lucky person who won the $200,000 prize.”
