$2 Million The Pick Ticket Sold at Arizona Lottery Office

Winning ticket from Saturday’s drawing still unclaimed

PHOENIX (Aug. 17, 2009) — The Arizona Lottery office on University Drive in Phoenix proved to be a “lucky landmark” for one player of The Pick after the winning ticket from Saturday’s game worth $2 million was purchased there.

The winning ticket, which remains unclaimed, was purchased at the Lottery’s office at 4740 E. University Drive in Phoenix. The winning numbers are 4, 5, 6, 7, 12 and 13.

“We are excited to have a winner for our state’s own jackpot game, The Pick,” said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. “I encourage anyone who bought a The Pick ticket for Saturday’s drawing to dig it out and check their numbers to see if they’re the state’s newest millionaire.”

Because Saturday’s jackpot was hit, Wednesday’s jackpot will return to $1 million.

Drawings for The Pick are broadcast Wednesday and Saturday during the 10 p.m. news on Channel 15 (ABC) in Phoenix, Channel 13 (CBS) in Tucson and in Spanish on Univision.

Players can check their numbers by logging onto arizonalottery.com or by calling the winning numbers hotlines at 480-829-PICK in Phoenix and 1-800-499-3798 in all other Arizona areas.

You must be at least 21 to purchase or redeem tickets. The Arizona Lottery reminds everyone to please play responsibly.
