PHOENIX (July 15, 2009) — A Phoenix man is the third $1 million winner from the Arizona Lottery’s $100 Million Cash Spectacular Scratchers ticket that launched in January.
Zahid Coko purchased the winning ticket at the QuikTrip at 10233 N. 19th Ave. in Phoenix. He will receive 20 annual payments of $50,000, minus taxes.
“We’re thrilled to have another $1 million winner come forward from our $100 Million Cash Spectacular Scratchers ticket,” said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director for the Arizona Lottery. “We still have seven $1 million top prizes remaining for this ticket and look forward to ushering in those new millionaires when they walk through our doors to claim their prizes, just as Mr. Coko did a few days ago.”
Launched on Jan. 12, $100 Million Cash Spectacular boasts more than $100 million in cash prizes — including ten $1 million grand prizes. There are more than 391,000 prizes from $50 to $500, and more than 5,400 prizes from $1,000 to $50,000. In total, there are more than 4.8 million prizes ranging from $10 to $1 million.
The $10 scratch-off tickets are available at retailers where Lottery tickets are sold. You must be at least 21 to purchase or redeem tickets. The Arizona Lottery reminds everyone to please play responsibly.
